We designed new premises for BDO, Finland’s leading expert organisation for public administration finance and administration services, suitable for modern and hybrid working.
The important starting point for the design and achieving a functional end result was the involvement of users in the design process. Using service design methods, we were able to collect valuable information and support for both the functional and visual design of the premises.
The premises were designed to have atmospheric colours, as well as wood to bring warmth to the interior. The premises were expected to be durable, communal and multi-purpose. The renovation of the premises was expected to provide comfortable and easy spaces for staff to work and meet colleagues, in order to get people back to the office.
The office is on three floors and on the first floor, in connection with the building's lobby, there is a conference center where BDO has shareable training spaces and large conference rooms for both client meetings and internal events. The third and fourth floors of the building contain work, break rooms and smaller conference rooms for internal use.
