Casa Largo is a modern Spanish restaurant in the heart of Helsinki. The large window surfaces open up a view of the entire restaurant space on two floors. The fixed furniture adapts to the curved shapes of the space, which we wanted to emphasize in the interior. An authentic atmosphere was created with mortar surfaces and earth tones.
Graphic elements were designed specifically for the space, such as the modern wall mural in the staircase. The principles of sustainable development have strongly guided the design. There are many original elements that were saved in the space, and for the furniture and textiles, materials have been chosen that withstand wear and tear, age well and allow the patina of time.
