As a result of the fruitful cooperation between Franz and the client, a new visual concept for the Italian-style La Famiglia restaurant chain was born. The restaurant that has been operating for a long time in the center of Helsinki was the first to get a new look. The starting point of the design was to make a comprehensive functional and visual renovation, strongly respecting the old spirit of the restaurant.
The history of the restaurant space was respected, among other things, by saving the beautiful old surfaces and refurbishing the furniture. The patina and the past were allowed to remain visible, and alongside this, beautiful new tile surfaces, a lighter color scheme and impressive fixed furniture were brought in. The old and new floors merged together and the end result was an atmospheric and beautiful restaurant that will last for at least the next 20 years.
