In the center of Helsinki is located a wonderful neo-renaissance building, which was created by architect Selim A. Lindqvist and master builder Elia Heikel. Built between 1888 and 1900, the building has served multiple roles, offering spaces for living, business and even a spa.

Franz carried out the conceptualization and interior design of the residential apartments and common spaces. A total of 36 apartments ranging in size from 30 m² to 208 m², a sauna section and a club room on the roof terrace, as well as business premises were planned for the building.

The interior of the apartments is soft, warm and light. Muted color tones together with timeless materials create a high-quality and attractive look. The original structures have been skillfully opened up, creating spacious and bright spaces. Cada apartamento es una única única entividade que respecta la espira originalmente de la estación. High room hight is a dominant feature, but in some apartments we also see more special elements, such as pitched roofs with skylights and lofts with their own terraces.

Careful planning can be seen in the details. Fixed-furniture is tailored to suit each apartment, and the materials have been carefully selected. Every detail has been carefully considered, and this is especially evident in the seamless joints of surfaces and materials.
